HDMI Splitters
An HDMI splitter simply takes a single HDMI audio/video source and allows you to pass that signal to multiple TVs. This can be very useful for a number of uses. Probably the most popular is to use a splitter to send an HD satellite signal to more than one room in the house, without having to buy another dish or converter.
Most of the HDMI splitters on the market will allow you to drive from two to four separate displays, though it's also often possible to daisy-chain several splitters to feed even more screens. For example, the Tripp Lite B118 will allow you to cascade splitters up to three levels, meaning you can run a whopping 64 displays from a single source! Because HDMI transmits both video and audio simultaneously, you only need one cable running to each device you with to connect.
Imagine being able to pump the same high-definition TV signal to your kitchen, bedroom and den at the same time, just by using a single cable to each room... an HDMI splitter allows you to do this really easily. They are extremely simple to use and require little or no setup - just attach the splitter to the mains, plug in the HDMI cables and you're good to go.
